#1 Please introduce yourself!
Nice to meet you. Please call me Hikaru🥰I'm from Japan, and I'm currently studying economics at Kwansei Gakuin University! Recently, I'm into watching Western movies on Netflix to get used to English. "Stranger Things" is recommended 😎 By the way, my special skill is drawing pictures!
#2 What is your favorite thing about your country/city? Why?
There are two main things I love about Japan. First of all, anime culture! I love Japanese anime and manga 😻 Japanese anime is also popular overseas! I'm very proud of the character's commitment and the author's drawing power. The second is where there are four seasons! There are good scenery and events in every season in spring, summer, autumn and winter, and I never get tired of it every year. ☺️ I think Setsubun, Tanabata, Bon Odori, etc. are good old Japanese cultures!
#3 What made you want to join ISC67 and your table? What would you like to achieve through the conference?
I got to know ISC67 thanks to my friend. That friend is also currently participating in ISC, and I think she was very good at English and had a great influence. Originally I wasn't confident in English, but I was interested in meeting with members of various nationalities and took on the challenge! The reason I chose Table 3 was that I started thinking about food a lot from the time I was hunting for a job and I wanted to improve food insecurity, which is a global problem, so I volunteered! I would like to finish my research and English with confidence while making friends with the members without compromising on the environment of COVID-19.
